Thank you for shopping with us! We take great care in packaging and shipping your plants so they arrive happy and healthy.


📦 Processing Times
Orders are processed and shipped within 2–5 business days after purchase. During high-volume times (holidays, plant restocks), processing may take slightly longer—we appreciate your patience!


🚚 Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship via USPS or UPS, depending on your location and the size of your order. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

At this time, we ship within the United States only (except Hawaii).


🌱 Live Plant Shipping Info
Your plants are shipped with soil (no pot) and are carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit. We do not ship bare root unless stated in the product description.

Please unpack your plant as soon as it arrives and give it a gentle drink of water if needed.


🌡️ Weather Considerations
We monitor weather conditions to ensure safe delivery. If temperatures are extreme, your order may be temporarily delayed to protect your plant. We’ll notify you of any significant delays.


📬 Tracking & Delivery
You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package promptly—live plants can be sensitive to prolonged exposure in mailboxes or on porches.


📸 Damaged or Lost Packages
If your plant arrives damaged, please contact us at byrdandroot@gmail.com within 48 hours with photos of the plant and packaging. We’ll make it right.

For lost or significantly delayed packages, we’ll do our best to assist, but we are not responsible for carrier-related issues once the package has been marked as delivered.
